Repair, Reinsulate & Repot
Olsen Surgical will completely repair, reinsulate and refurbish your old worn out instruments and make them like new or better. We work on most manufacturers' electrosurgical instruments, (i.e. laparoscopic graspers, scissors, hooks and spatulas; monopolar & bipolar forceps, suction tubes). We provide this service for many other instruments that need protective insulation. All insulating material used is FDA Class V1 fully autoclavable.
Monopolar Forceps are reinsulated and an extra sleeve of insulation is applied on to each side for extra protection for the surgeon.
Bipolar Forceps are reinsulated or refinished, then fitted with a new cap and potted. (Our potting material can withstand hundreds of autoclave cycles).
Laparoscopic Instruments are stripped of old insulation and completely remanufactured with new pins if necessary, sharpened and repaired, then reinsulated.
Sharpening & Repair
Olsen Surgical is capable of sharpening and repairing any hand held surgical instrument.
Needle Holders - We provide the highest quality tungsten carbide replacement inserts for any type needle holder and Castroviejo needle holder.
Scissors - operating and micro
Arthroscopic Instruments
Instruments are returned to you with their original finish (i.e. buffed, satin finish, or glass bead finish).
We also provide this service for surgical Dental instruments.
Rigid and Flexible Endoscope Service
Olsen Surgical provides repair service on most major makes and models.
Rigid Scope Special Standard Repairs: 1 price for all parts and labor required for the repair, i.e. objectives, rod lens, ocular, etc.....$600.00
Rebuilds: complete rebuilding of the scope including new inner and outer tubes, new fiber optics and fiber cone.....$875.00
